Happy Mothers day to you all. We had a great meal at Patties and the "Golden girls" were all there in their glory. Even the turkey hen paid a visit today. I think it got confused in the storm this morning. I forgot to mention where Jason graduated from. Kyle and I traveled 6 hours Friday in rainy weather to see him walk Saturday. He went to Lynchburg College in Lynchburg VA. On Saturday we weren't even sure we could go because of rain. But it ended up being a pretty morning. You never know in the mountains. We hurried home after so we could have the electrician come on Sunday. A very busy weekend. Then Sunday a serious storm came through, still is. We lost a huge tree and it is laying up against our back door. We are very lucky it didn't hit the roof. But we are unable to use the back door. It is laying across our patio. It also just barely missed the shed! Lucky Lucky. Mom lost a tree in the front too. She was worried at Easter it would come down but Mike and I assured her it would fall in the woods. I guess we were wrong. My next post will be the kitchen . The dry wall is up and the cabinets are in boxes in the room. We are moving right along -slowly-but moving. Not bad for a weekend job.
