We celebrated Katie's Birthday Friday night
with cake and ice cream
After a few camera opps we finally ate
They also hooked up Kyles new stove Friday too. ( yes that is scrapple cooking) How nice is that!! He loves it. They hooked up the oven/microwave today and that was a little more difficult to operate. It took us awhile to cook Wade's pizza tonight. We will have to study the manual for that one!!
We also painted Saturday. This is one coat and it matches the rest of the kitchen perfect. I was a little worried. That black dot on the wall is on my camera lens. I need to clean it again. It is on Becky in an earlier posting. I am not sure what it is. Any how.... this is the arch way to the new kitchen front door and that is the pantry on the other side of the cabinet. This all is on the front side of the house. The unpainted part in the arch way is a front closet. I can't wait till I can start filling those up!!

It was terribly hot all weekend. Pattie and I sat by the pool while Kyle helped the electrician work. I think we will pay for the sun tomorrow. But it was so relaxing!
