Day 1. We listen to this band called Gold Heart. They were 15,17,19 and played with their dad. They were great. They told us when we talked to them they were going to Georgetown Delaware to a prayer meeting to preform.. When they came back we talked to them again. They were very good.
This is an awesome fiddle player from Brevard NC. Boy could he play. They all could.
This band Steep Canyon Rangers were all from Ashville and Brevard Area in NC. Of course I had to call Kim when they played. You need to check them out at the Ashville festival every summer. I can't think of the name of it right now. It is too early.
Kyle listens to this lady on the radio and very excited to see her live. This is the Claire Lynch Band.
Her banjo player was flat footing stomping - ham boning. He was very good and reminded me of John Hartford. Any of you know him? You should check his music out. Sadly he is no longer with us.
He even had the piece of wood to dance on.

When Kyle wasn't sitting and listening he was here. No it is not the food line it was the tent to meet the bands and buy their CD's. He bought just about every band!!!

Steep Canyon Rangers- great band.
they have been around for a while and get better every year. Wow- i wanna go next time. Great way to spend 3 days.
