Pre-Christmas in Phillie. We were going to go up the weekend
of the 20th but went a week early. Which we are very grateful
for, it snowed 22-24 inches in Phillie last weekend!! Clay measured it
and sent us pictures by phone.
This is the finished product. I made 5 in all and they all sat different on the graves.
Gold ribbons for the fathers and red for the grandparent.
We had a prime rib dinner for all, Jake's girlfriend Beth was
here for about a week. We really like her. She is a good balance for Jake.
They traveled to New York to see the
Rockkets and visit with friends.
I am lighting the Advent candles
This was dinner Saturday night when the electric went off for the 3rd time that day.
We kidnapped mom and brought her down for dinner. It was cold and snowy and no one had electric. But we have a gas stove and heater, so the party was on - grilled cheese and chilli-ummm good!
Rest up all Christmas is coming, a time to relax, enjoy and be thankful for what God has given us.
Love
Nora

the grave decorations are beautiful Nora! you did a wonderful job. I would love one of those hanging on my front door this year. Know they will look so pretty at the cemetery and last a long time. Thanks for doing that!
They looked great against the snow. But the snow was higher than the stones so we had to weight them done with a brick at a few of them. They are from dad's trees and the holly from our yard.
