The family was home in June for Katie's 50th birthday celebration.
But we also celebrated Bill's 30th and Jessica's 35th.
I am sure they all loved it!!

She loved all of her gifts .
Family, neighbors and friends came out to celebrate with Katie.
She blew most of them out.
We are family. Mom and I planned this party for Katie last fall, then life slapped us in the face.
We lost mom in March but we were still planning things and keeping it hush hush.
Everyone still wanted to come home and celebrate with Katie so forward I pushed. I guess it turned out fine. Everyone came and we all had a great time relaxing and being a family. Kim was here before hand and was a huge help to Kyle and I. Still Katie is Katie and found out everyone was coming home. What she did not know was the nieces, nephews and cousins were also coming. I think we did a great job surprising her mom!! I could feel your presence often through the week.
And now we are six. We are strong, we are loved, we are supported by loved ones and we are carrying on with life.
It hurts to move on but we do it. We do it for all of you and knowing someday we will all be reunited together. If I didn't believe that I couldn't get through the days.
What a perfect way to end the day. A beautiful full moon and my picture actually turned ouot!

nvery nice job nora got a little tear when you mentioned mom and dad but i so glad you did. its all about memories.:) and we sure do make a lot of them.
It was a fun time and fun trying to keep it a secret!! We almost pulled it off! haha....fun week and good memories to remember forever.....now Katie is on the top of the hill with the rest of us, although I think I'm slipping quickly off the other side!
