Our Labor Day weekend led us to Old Temperenceville Rd.
Which is located south on Rt 13 from Chincoteague. This is where Kyle's mom mom Doris grew up.
We came upon this grave yard and took a ride through it.
 Kyle thought he saw something.
We found Effie May!! Mom always sang the Effie May song to all the grandchildren
when she rocked them. Autumn was the last to hear this precious  song.
The Kelley's are Kyle's dad's mother family. We have been searching the area for a few
years now.
We think a sister/cousin married a Wright. The Wrights have a huge seafood restaurant.
on the island. It also use to be an oyster house too - back in the day.

Kyle's great grandparents. He was so excited to find their graves.
He always wanted an Effie Mae too.
I had the pleasure of knowing mom mom Doris but not the rest. I would love to learn more about
this side of the family. A cemetery is a good place to start.
Even though this was on a big hill (for Delmarva) they still buried people this way.
Such simple history to learn in these old cemetery's.
Now what is wrong with this picture? To many electronics!
Only when the kids are not around LOL.
Our Labor Day picnic got rained on but we had the Macklin group & Katie.
Luke is doing great at school and Jake got a little study time in also.

Wow - that was Luke? Love his new hair cut; he looks like a little man!

Cemetery's are very interesting, with all the cremations going on we are going to lose that history..
