I am forever trying to get a good picture of the moon.
This was one of the rare moons -blue moon?
Seems we have had a few of those this year.
I think they turned out pretty good.
 Saying Good Bye.
This was the last "Wednesday" for Nora at mom & dad's. How many years have I been going
down there every Wednesday? At least 10 years! If I couldn't I went on a Thursday.
Mom would always start getting ancy around 6 oclock. My que to leave.
How perfect was it to have the very last night there be a Wednesday!
Everything but a few small things to pack up and cleaning was left to do.
So of course it rained.
We made one last trip to the Christen warehouse and to the dump.
Katie collected phone books and Kyle....well he was Kyle
and we love him!
 all was gone
 and the rain kept coming.
As much as dad loved to build things he sure left alot of holes in the walls!
I took the grandkids picture frame down and there was a huge
hole with insulation in it! I had to take the pictures out and hang
the frame back! Not sure why the other holes are there! Every room that had an intercom had a hole.  I guess these all happened while he was still working and he just forgot about them. Not sure why the dryer had a huge hole though. Some day I will have to ask Mike & Duane........
Katie wanted to walk through each room and say a memory. This was
having family pictures in the family room. Filled to the brim with parents, children & grandchildren. Even great grandchildren!! 5 generations lived, laughed and loved in this home!
It doesnt matter how short that phone cord was. We made it to the stairs,
closet and front door every time.
 Sisters
And we do love each other! I don't know what I would do
if Katie wasn't down the street.
She is beautiful inside and out!
How many times did I look out this door, waiting for a friend, boyfriend,
husband, kids to pick me up? I will never see that view again. After40 years I can just look at the
house from the road.
I loved each and every minute here. For they all led me to today.
So to RR3 Box 165 & to 24102 Deep Branch Rd,
we said good bye.......
We laughed, we cried, we toasted to Mom & dad for all they lived and stood for
in ALL out lives.
Now it is time to take this and share it with our kids and their kids.
I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!
