Well it is over. Our yearly Halloween trip to Trap Pond went great. It started out with 70 degree weather and sunshine then it got wet, really wet. But we adapted. We were pretty much the redneck campers. The first night it rained we sat around the fire with umbrellas and it poured but the fire stayed blazing. The next day we got more wood and a huge tarp. Then we started thinking hard. How can we get the most out of this trip. And we did. The tarp was up and we stayed semi dry. We were able to sit around the fire, eat meals, play games, carve pumpkins, and pick crabs. I was prepared this year (it stormed really bad last year this year it just poured for 3 days straight). with my red heart rain boots. My feet stayed dry! The sun did come out Saturday just in time for the festivities. Th little kids and big ones had a great time.
We decorated our easy up with a huge spider on top and cob webs. I was a dead mouse looking for my cheese. Kyle was flava-flav, Joe and Tami were dressed up and Wade and Noah laid around like dead bodies. Got a lot of kids by jumping out at them. Courtney was a scary motorcycle rider. We could have won but we didn't. The whole campground is decorated up for Halloween. It is pretty neat for all kids:) Hope fully more pictures will follow, I have to get ahold of Patties.

I know where’s flavor flav?? Did you happen to make any pumpkin seeds this year? Yummy!!!
I had to "pose" as a 13 year old to get a pumkin this year at Trap Pond. I was the only one to carve one is was so sad. I miss doing that with the kids. Usally everyone can get a pumpkin. But no I did not cook them. I did not want Kyle eating them. We need a Halloween family reunion:)
Check out Aunt Katies blog for Flavor flav.
