My last minute decoration for the front door entry. We never carved our pumpkins at Halloween.

I think Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. The family comes together and all pitch in, we gather around several tables and chat and even though we all live near by which catch up and what ever is going on. The kids are grown and all going different way but still fine time to come and gather. Clay drove down from Phillie while his Bride Becky had to work. He went home to pick her up after work.

Kyles turkey was wonderful. It was so heavy it was making the oven rack sags.
Literally!! But ummm was it great, it all was.

Rocco found an old bone and took control. Lady wasn't to sure on what was going on.

Mom Betty rolled the dumplings. Jake I hope you had dumplings but I think you missed out.

The spread. Kyle has found a sweet potato recipe that works for him. He prepared
food all day Wednesday and Thursday. I don't know how the grandmothers did this all the time.

Table one

Table two

Saying goodbye to Rocco he was such fun to watch. Quite the active dog.
He loved running in the kitchen!
I hope you all enjoyed good food, good family, and a good day!
We did!
On to Christmas but I am going to savor in Thanksgiving for a little while longer.
