GO AHEAD AND GUESS.........If you saw Aron's face book picture you might think scrapple (even spell check does not know what scrapple is - to funny). For those of you who do not know what scrapple is - this is not it. This is for sausage. Kyle has decided he wanted to make homemade sausage. This is the casing the sausage will go in. First he had to soak it in water. All I could think of was " the Boe boys would love this"!
Kyle and Joe bought this Hobart grinder sometime ago.I am unclear on when. I think Ebay may have something to do with it. Here Kyle is grinding and mixing all the meets he has been stocking up on all winter.
The local butchers all know him by name and watch out for him.
He bought enough for 40 lbs and he did not use it all. Live and learn. And that we are doing.
We need two hands and some muscle so I stepped back and took the camera. I did do this later and it does take some muscle! But man do my men enjoy playing with food!

HAHA!!! Yes, you are right, my boys would have loved doing that with you guys :-) You will have to save some of these neat "ideas" for when we are come in July :-)

I bet the sausage was very yummy!! Looks like our house during deer season.....big process of cutting up the deer and packing the meat! I help pack it ,but thats it!!
