All I keep hearing is...."STOP CLICKING". These are words I have come to live by in my computer world (thanks to Kerry). I changed my blog format last time and have just spent the better part of 2 hours trying to find out how to make a new post!!!!! So I will not be changing my format anymore:)

Kyle and I finally got the family room finished. It was our last project on the house. Maybe..... I am sure we will do one more painting of the main living area BUT it will not be us painting!
So without further ado......
I chose to go with an orange color for the walls. Here it looks gold.
But I really like it and it is out of my "norm".
To save money we pulled up the carpet. We knew it had been glued down
but little did we know HOW much glue was involved!
As we questioned David who put it down and we felt old. He is only a year younger and ensured us it would come up easy. Yeah right! we huffed and we puffed. We called in the young folks......
Then we called the police and the dogs!
And he worked and he worked. He also had to pull up the tacking strips for the
carpet. Did I mention it was a cement floor? This was 6 a.m.!
Kyle finally gave in with a small part to be completed. We would pay for David to finish it.
And David said " Forget this " and went home to get a special machine:)!
The out come we LOVE!!!!!
We got rid (relocated) a few pieces and relocated some other pieces. Bought a rug and we are good to go! Come see us!!!
And we have a pack -n-play:)
