January 2014 started out with a bang. Right before we had to go back to
work we got a snow storm and a very cold snap.
 But it was beautiful!!
Lady takes me for walks when it snows:)
She is 13 1/2 years old!
Soon after Kim & Tom came for a quick visit to check on their homestead.
Kyle, Tom and Gordy got things rolling with the greenhouse.
It has been beautiful weather ever sense.
I was able to baby sit Harper J last weekend.
She is such a happy girl!
Things have changed so much sense I was a mom. The cup is spill proof,
has a softer  spout so it is more like a bottle top and she can hold it better
than a bottle. The blue thingie is a net that covers fresh fruit or veggies and
she can suck on it and get the juices. AMAZING!
Katie and I attended Emily's bridal shower last weekend.
The soon to be Mrs. Jacob Macklin was very excited!!
 We ate, we played games,
 Had cake & cupcakes

 opened gifts.....
Emily's sister Meghan did a wonderful job.
They are so crafty, Pinterest is a wonderful thing!
And we played pin the mustache on the groom:)
And then we had MLK Day off - went back to work for
a 1/2 of day and were sent home. We were expecting a huge storm again,
single digits and up to 12 inches of snow.
We got maybe 3 with some drifting, high winds  and
single digits! Off today and possibly tomorrow.
Or maybe a school delay anyways. Our road is still not plowed and
Wade has been working all night.
Right now we are taking a slow day off from everything.
