Well here it is. It is totally amazing and brings tears to my eyes when I think of it. The VICE PRESIDENT was on Pine Street Georgetown Delaware!!!! We arrived in Georgetown at 10:00 a.m. Why??? To get our collector pins and to see Vice President Biden. We met up with friends and went through security to get on the circle. I had my camera and all ready for the search...but forgot my phone and got the wand treatment. Ooopps my bad. Any how there was absolutely nothing on the circle. No food, vendors or Porty pots. We found a lawyers office right on the circle that Tami got us into. Free, food, beverage and bathrooms!! Donation accepted. It was great. We could see all the secret service on the roof tops and all. Then they told us if we stepped off the porch we were going to have to be searched again. We debated but decided to leave anyway. We got separated from Tami and Joe and Katie but met up with Pattie. The parade started on hour late and we thought we had missed Mr. Biden. Then we realized he had to come back around and I got these shots. It was awesome. You can't describe what you feel. Our little state. Or little town. And even though he is from upstate he is still part of our Sussex County and always has been. We were soaked by then (at least it was warm) and it rained ALL day so we chose to come home. My only regret is that we did not hear his speech live. It will be another 3 hours before he spoke and I just could hang in the rain.......
VICE PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN I was this close!!! He didn't have to come but he has never missed a Return Day sense he has been in office. This was awesome.

Here he is getting out to greet his supporters. Two little boys went to run up to him and were just about tackled by the secret service. They will never forget that!!
