Our 2009 Easter Bowl (done way early this year)
My dining room center piece

And of course Easter egg dying. This is a tradition sense I was a little girl. Mom always had us dying eggs, then the grandchildren and now we older kids do it every year. I take all the stuff to moms and we sit and enjoy the company and dye eggs. Some year we will get real creative but now its just plan old store bought stuff. But we have fun. This year was Katie, Pattie, Mom and I . Then Jake popped in. A pleasant surprise. Then I came home a did my Easter basket for the family. Now I have to hind it from Lady because she loves chocolate!!
Here is a little Easter Egg fact I found. (Well it won't let me cut and paste)but the hatching Easter Chick became a symbol of the tomb in which Jesus emerged from and the rebirth of man.

I hope you all have a Happy Easter tomorrow. We will all be gathering at the Serman's!!

That bowl and all that candy would be gone in 10 minutes in this household...I'm sure you remember those days. ha!

Miss you and love you!! ~Heather

I can remember I was sitting by the heater one cold Easter and left my basket there when we went to church. I was a sad puppy when I found it! All melted into that grass!! Not a pretty sight.
