What am I thinking of today you ask? Well it is a beautiful Saturday and I have been in doors cleaning, baking and then a walk to Katie's. When I came back I laid down for a little and my mind wandered to when Clay was born and growing up. It was a great trip down memory lane. Clay was a long labor at a very cold time. We came home Christmas eve and he spent his first Christmas Eve & Christmas morning at Grandma and Grandpa's. Dad was working 11 -7 a.m. and it was bitter cold out. He took his first step and cut his first tooth on his first birthday. He went Easter Egg hunting, trick or treating, rode his big boy bike at 5, played basketball, baseball, soccer, football, he is an Eagle Scout, a college graduate and going for his MBA. Clay has grown into a very fine young man and we are very proud of him. He has made good and bad choices and learned from them. This choice... to marry I feel in my heart and have from the start, that it is right. He is ready. He is in love. He loves Becky, respects Becky, he treat her like gold, cherishes Becky, You see it and you feel it. It is a great thing to be apart of.
They are running errands today to the hotels and such. Finalizing things. They are starting new memories of their own, to grown on and look back on.
We are blessed to have these two in our lives and we are enriched from them both.
