Sept.6 2009
It is a lazy hot Sunday with beautiful breeze outside. Kyle is cooking a pork roast on the grill and the family will gather for dinner later. We are all off tomorrow. I will shop in the morning for last minute outfits. Yep that would be me. Last minute. Today we are relaxing and I think a nap might be in order. I tried my dress on with my sandals. They are so comfortable. I could use a little more height but it will be fine.
Rebbecca came in this morning not feeling to hot but always with a happy attitude and smile. She is a bright ray of sunshine. Always happy and upbeat. She gets along great with Aron and Wade and can take the teasing like a real sister. We are so excited to have her in our family. She is very family oriented, has a great set of values, works hard and is the bargain shopper. The first time I met her it was July 4th 2006. I was hot, sweaty and cutting our grass. She was helping Clay move to a beach house I guess. I don't know who was more nervous. Then the next time was after dad passed. She was great for Clay at that time. She was there for him. And has always been. Supporting him through college and urging him on to his masters. Any whoooo she, (like Clay) is very in love with her groom. She can't wait to be Mrs. Clayton Serman and will tell you that. She is so lively and loving. She told me one night we did a great job raising Clay , he is such a loving wonderful man!! She won my heart that night then we both cried. She has all our hearts and we can't wait to have her join our family. That would be 9/12/09!!!! 6 more days!!!
