Well it is Labor Day 2009. School should start tomorrow but Patrolmen Chad Spicer's funeral is tomorrow so they canceled school. I love living in this small town community. Georgetown is a great place to live, don't get me wrong, it has it's issues but I would not have chosen a different place..... Unless my husband took me somewhere different.
Which brings me to Clay and Becky.....They will follow each other to anywhere their careers take them. But they have values and goal in life and I think (hope) that will bring them to the Delmarva peninsula. Last night they had friend over for our Labor day dinner. It is great being with the younger generation. To hear them talk about this and that. I picked up little things about the wedding.
Today Kyle and I went shopping (last minute) to find something for the rehearsal dinner. We did. I also got the classic black Material girl Madonna breath trap. I hope it fixes the dress issue. It is really something I should post on U-tube! We then went to an auction place and bought a rocking chair just like the one we bought when I was pregnant with Clay.......hint hint (All in the plan.....) Clay will be here tonight to head home tomorrow. Becky will stay behind to do last minute stuff for the wedding. I am sure their phones will be burning up with messages. Kyle and I both work tomorrow and the family starts to arrive Wednesday!!!! We are all so exited for this week!!! Love you all! Until tomorrow......
