On to November.
And what is November without Return Day???
slow and boring.
It was Kim and Tom's first experience......
And it all starts the night before at the ox roast.
The town serves free ox (beef now) sandwhiches after
all the returns are read after the parade. They start cooking the night after the election
so it is ready the next day. Everyone travels to Georgetown to hear the winners annouced.
To help keep the cooks awake people sat with them and played music.
 The people gather and reconnect
A couple of local bands play now and the beer truck is there
along with other venders.
 Kim with Alvin (cook)
The next day Kyle and I like to go up early and walk around
before the crowd arrives. This guy from Fox 21 was trying to
interview Kyle but couldnt get his camera working.
Now we know how he got this assignment....
The Gerber Daisey's were in full bloom and still looking good.
 Another wonderful warm fall day.
 Let the parade begin!

 Miss Alma
 The mayor of Georgetown
Miss Rosa lee. She has worked hard many years to keep
this tradition alive.
 Mr. Mark Murray
Helen Kruger, always a busy volunteer for as long
as I have know her.
And Floyd Megee. I love this man...
